THE COMMANDMENTS ARE LIFE

Understanding the Law for the Elect of YAHUAH

INTRODUCTION

One of the greatest deceptions in modern Christianity is the belief that "the Law" (Torah) is a burden, a curse, or a religious system from which believers in Yeshua Messiah must be freed.

This very crafty lie of the Enemy has severed millions from holiness, from obedience, and from the very nature of YAHUAH Himself.

But Scripture proclaims a radically different truth:

  • ✔ The Law of YAHUAH is not bondage — it is life.
  • ✔ The Law of YAHUAH is not a curse — it is instruction.
  • ✔ The Law of YAHUAH is not abolished — it is eternal.
  • ✔ The Law of YAHUAH is not impossible — it is Spirit-empowered.
  • ✔ The Law of YAHUAH is not Jewish — it is Heavenly.

The Hebrew word for "Law" is Torah meaning:

  • instruction
  • teaching
  • direction
  • guidance
  • the way of life

The Torah is YAHUAH's divine manual for mankind, showing humans how to live In His Presence.

This article dismantles, yes in fact, this article utterly destroys the false doctrine of "lawlessness under grace" and restores the truth of YAHUAH's Eternal Law to it's rightful place in the lives of the Elect.

1. THE WORD "LAW" HAS MISLED MILLIONS OF BELIEVERS

When Christians hear the word "Law," they imagine:

  • bondage
  • works-based righteousness
  • religious rituals
  • condemnation

But Torah does not mean legal code.

Torah means: instruction, teaching, direction, the path of Life.

It is YAHUAH saying:

"This is the way humans were designed to live."

This is why David said:

"I delight in Your Commandments, which I love."

— Psalm 119:47

The Elect delight in the Law

In fact, they Love the Law of YAHUAH because it reveals the nature of YAHUAH Himself.

2. THE LAW IS YAHUAH'S NATURE IN WRITTEN FORM

The Law is not a list of arbitrary rules.

It is the written expression of YAHUAH's own character.

Paul declares:

"So then, the Law itself is holy, and the commandment is holy, just, and good."

— Romans 7:12

Why?

  • Because YAHUAH is holy
  • Because YAHUAH is just
  • Because YAHUAH is good

To reject the Law is to reject His nature.

To resist the Law is to resist His character.

To despise the Law is to despise the One who gave it, YAHUAH Himself.

3. CHRISTIANS ARE NOT "UNDER THE LAW," BUT THEY MUST WALK ACCORDING TO THE LAW

Paul teaches:

"You are not under the Law but under grace."

— Romans 6:14

This does not mean believers are freed from obedience to the Law of YAHUAH.

It means believers are freed from:

  • condemnation,
  • penalty,
  • judgment under the Law.

Paul immediately clarifies:

"Do we then abolish the Law by this faith?

Absolutely not!

On the contrary, we uphold the Law."

— Romans 3:31

Grace does NOT replace obedience to the Law—

grace empowers obedience to the Law of YAHUAH.

Paul says that the Spirit fulfills the Law within the believer:

"The righteous requirement of the Law

might be fulfilled in us, who do not live according to human nature but according to the Spirit."

— Romans 8:4

This is true New Covenant obedience.

4. ISRAEL FAILED BECAUSE THEY LACKED THE SPIRIT — NOT BECAUSE THE LAW IS IMPOSSIBLE

Christians often argue:

"Israel couldn't keep the Law — so neither can we."

This is false.

Israel failed because their hearts were hard.

They lacked the indwelling Spirit of YAHUAH.

YAHUAH Himself promised the solution:

"I will give you a new heart

and put a new Spirit within you…

I will place MY SPIRIT within you, empowering you to live according to my regulations and to keep my Laws."

— Ezekiel 36:26–27

The Spirit does NOT free believers from the Law —

the Spirit frees believers FROM SIN

The Spirit enables the Elect to walk IN the Law of YAHUAH.

John confirms:

"His commandments are not burdensome."

— 1 John 5:3

Because the Spirit writes them on the heart.

5. THE LAW IS NOT JEWISH — IT IS THE CULTURE OF THE KINGDOM OF YAHUAH

This must be said with full authority:

The Law did NOT originate with the Jews!!!

This is the deception Christians have swallowed:

"Jews keep the Law.

Gentiles don't have to."

This is entirely false.

It is NOT Jewish culture.

It is YAHUAH's culture — and it applies to ALL mankind.

The Law existed long before Israel, Below is the biblical proof:

A. THE LAW EXISTED LONG BEFORE MOSES — THEREFORE, NOT JEWISH

1. Adam received commandments from YAHUAH

"And YAHUAH Elohim commanded the man…"

— Genesis 2:16

2. Noah received commandments

"But you must not eat meat with its life — its blood."

— Genesis 9:4

3. Abraham kept the Law

Abraham was not Jewish.

Judaism did not exist.

Yet YAHUAH says:

"Abraham obeyed My instructions

and kept My commandments,

My statutes,

and My Laws."

— Genesis 26:5

Abraham kept the Law centuries before Moses.

Because the Law isn't Jewish, in fact this one verse destroys the doctrine that the Law is "Jewish."

The Law is eternal.

B. YAHUAH CALLS THE COMMANDMENTS "MY LAW," NEVER "THE LAW OF ISRAEL"

Scripture repeatedly says:

  • MY Sabbaths (Ezekiel 20:20)
  • MY Feasts (Leviticus 23:2)
  • MY Commandments (Exodus 20:6)
  • MY Statutes (Leviticus 26:3)
  • MY Torah (Isaiah 51:4)

The Law belongs to YAHUAH —

not to Israel.

C. PASSOVER IS NOT JEWISH — IT IS YAHUAH'S PASSOVER

Christians call it "Jewish Passover."

But Scripture says:

"It is YAHUAH's Passover."

— Exodus 12:11

Not Israel's feast.

Not Judaism's feast.

YAHUAH'S Feast.

D. THE FEASTS BELONG TO YAHUAH — NOT THE JEWS

Christians say "Jewish feasts,"

but Scripture never does.

YAHUAH Himself says:

"These are the Feasts of YAHUAH…"

— Leviticus 23:2

Every feast is titled:

"A Feast of YAHUAH."

Not a feast of Israel.

Not a cultural holiday.

Not an ethnic observance.

The "Appointed Times" of YAHUAH.

E. THE SABBATH IS NOT JEWISH — IT WAS ESTABLISHED AT CREATION

Before Israel existed,

before Moses,

before the Jews:

"YAHUAH blessed the seventh day

and made it holy."

— Genesis 2:3

The Sabbath is:

  • Creation law
  • Eternal law
  • YAHUAH'S law

He calls it:

"MY Sabbaths."

— Ezekiel 20:20

F. ONE LAW FOR ALL PEOPLES — YAHUAH DOES NOT HAVE TWO STANDARDS

YAHUAH explicitly rejects the idea of separate laws for Jews and Gentiles:

"There shall be ONE Law

for the native-born

and for the foreigner."

— Exodus 12:49

One people.

One King.

One culture.

One Law.

G. ECCLESIASTES 12:13 — THE LAW DEFINES HUMANITY, NOT JEWISH IDENTITY

The Spirit of YAHUAH speaking through Solomon says:

"Fear God and obey His commandments,

for this is what it means to be HUMAN."

— Ecclesiastes 12:13

Not "what it means to be Jewish."

Not "what it means to be Israel."

What it means to be HUMAN.

The Law is YAHUAH's instructions for mankind.

Israel did not create the Law:

they were entrusted with it (Romans 3:2).

And they struggled with it

because the Law is spiritual (Romans 7:14)

and can only be kept by the Spirit of YAHUAH.

The Law is the culture of the Kingdom.

Isaiah prophesies of the Messianic Age:

"For the Law will go out from Zion,

and the Word of YAHUAH from Jerusalem."

— Isaiah 2:3

When Yeshua reigns,

the Law becomes worldwide culture.

6. NO ONE ENTERS THE KINGDOM WHILE REJECTING THE CULTURE OF THAT KINGDOM.

Yeshua declares:

"Not everyone who says to Me, 'Lord, Lord,'

will enter the kingdom from heaven,

but only the person who keeps doing the will of my Father in heaven."

— Matthew 7:21

David writes what the Father's will is for the Elect:

"I delight to do your will, my Elohim. Your Law is part of my inner being."

— Psalm 40:8

The Messiah teaches:

"If you want to enter enteral life, you must Keep The Commandments."

— Matthew 19:17

The final generation of believers is described:

"Here is the endurance of the saints:

those who Keep The Commandments of YAH

and hold fast to their faith in Yeshua."

— Revelation 14:12

Faith in Yeshua Messiah AND obedience to the Law of YAHUAH

—not lawless Christianity—

is the mark of the Elect.

7. THE ELECT ARE NOT "GENTILES" — THE LAW OF YAHUAH APPLIES TO ALL WHO BELONG TO HIM, IT IS THEIR WAY OF LIFE.

One of the most fatal doctrines in Christianity is this lie:

"Because we are not Jews,

we do not need to keep the Law."

This is spiritually deadly.

If Gentiles do not keep the Law,

then YAHUAH would have two different cultures,

two different expectations,

two different definitions of holiness.

That is impossible.

YAHUAH says:

"There is ONE Law

for the native-born

and for the foreigner who dwells among you."

— Exodus 12:49

One Law for Israel.

One Law for the foreigner (Gentile).

One Law for the Kingdom of YAH.

The moment a believer enters covenant with Yeshua Messiah,

they are no longer Gentile:

"You are no longer foreigners and aliens,

but fellow citizens with the saints

and members of YAHUAH's household."

— Ephesians 2:19

Paul says:

"There is neither Jew nor Greek…

for you are all one in Messiah Yeshua."

— Galatians 3:28

One King.

One people.

One standard.

One culture.

The culture of the Kingdom

is the Law of YAHUAH.

⭐ BISHOP'S INSIGHT — THE LAW OF YAHUAH IS THE WAY OF LIFE FOR EVERY PERSON WHO BELONGS TO HIM

The Law is not:

  • Jewish culture
  • Mosaic invention
  • ethnic tradition
  • ceremonial religion

The Law is:

  • ✔ the culture of Heaven
  • ✔ the nature of YAHUAH
  • ✔ the path of holiness
  • ✔ the identity of the Elect
  • ✔ the standard of the Kingdom of YAH
  • ✔ the blueprint for mankind to live out

The Jews did not create it —

YAHUAH did.

To reject the Law is to reject:

the culture of the Kingdom,

the nature of the King, YESHUA MESSIAH

and the lifestyle of His people.

This is why Yeshua Messiah taught:

"If you love Me, keep My commandments."

The Elect do not keep the Law to earn salvation.

They keep the Law because they have been saved,

reborn by the Spirit,

and transformed into citizens of YAHUAH's Kingdom.

The Law is not abolished.

The Law is not optional.

The Law is not temporary.

The Law is not ethnic.

The Law of YAHUAH

is the way of life

for the Elect.
